Day of Adventure!

So, I talked Mike into taking a day off last week so we could have some family time together. We made a day of it and headed to Nashville. Our first stop was Vanderbilt Children's Hospital. I know you are thinking why in the world we would go there, but they have some really fun stuff for kids there and they have a great little boutique call "My Friends Place" that I have gotten some cute dresses from. And since I am/was still in the hunt for a dress I thought that would be a good place to look. From there we went across the street to "Dragon Park" so Piper could run around. It's called Dragon Park because it has this really cool mosaic sculpture of a dragon that kids can climb on.

She climbed all the way up there all by herself!

Kipton and I watched as Daddy and Piper played

I just love this picture... I think it's so sweet!

After we were done at the park, (or should I say after we carried Piper away kicking and screaming because she didn't want to leave) we headed over to Green Hills mall to the Apple store so I could get one of these....

Yay!!! I am sooo excited to get a Macbook. If you didn't know, Apple makes the best/coolest/most user friendly computers EVER! My excuse was that I needed it for school, which is the truth, kindof. But the best part is, is that Apple is running a back to school special for students that if you buy a computer you can get 2 things for free..... this is the first

An ipod touch, because we really needed another ipod, right. Now Mike and Piper both have ipod touches. The second thing that we got was this...
A printer! Even though we really didn't "need" it how can you pass it up? It was free! (after rebate)

So, after a fun day for all involved (except maybe our wallet). We headed back to Murfreesboro to enjoy the rest of our day together and play with all of our new toys... :)

Matt says welcome to the club. I say that it is an expensive one to join, but you will never leave it once you join.

Yeah, we already have the Mac desktop, and probably all that I really needed for school was a PC but after using a mac there is no way that I could EVER go back!
