For Boys?

So, I went to a consignment sale in Nashville yesterday, and was able to get some cute stuff for Kipton. On my way up to the checkout, I spotted this Army pilot jumpsuit (is that what it's called?). It was a size 2T but it was ONLY $3.00 so I figured that I would get it for Kipton and he would just grow into it.

On the way home, it dawned on me that Piper could probably fit into it now, so I showed it to her and explained that she could wear it and pretend to be an Army pilot. She then explained that "Army was just for boys NOT girls!"

Today, I was showing the outfit to Mike, and he was talking about how much he liked it and how much Papa would too. Mike also wants to get one of the Metro's aviation patches for it, which would make it even cooler because then it would have a patch from "Daddy's work".

Well, Piper heard all of this and decided that apparently Army is not just for boys and insisted that I let her put it on.

Isn't it so cute! Well, wearing just the jumpsuit wasn't enough, she needed the aviators too.

Maverick... is that you?

Here is her "model" pose.. a.k.a. "mom quit taking pictures of me"

Anyway, so as much as she DID NOT want to put it on yesterday, she refused to take it off today. She even played outside in the 90+ degree weather in it, insisting that she wasn't hot and she didn't want to change into her dress.

I guess Army is for girls too...
