Most people hate rainy days. They say they're depressing, gloomy etc., I on the other hand love a rainy day. There is something so calming and peaceful to me about rainy days. It's a good excuse to put off everything till tomorrow and curl up on the couch and relax. Now, I know that is wishful thinking and most rainy days it does require an excursion or two out of the house, but once again, I'm not made of sugar and the rain isn't going to melt me.
Apparently I have passed this attitude about rainy days on to Piper. Because this week all she had wanted to do is play in the rain. She puts on her raincoat and rain boots, and asks for an umbrella.
The other day while we we're at my mom and dad's house I think she played outside for over an hour just splashing in the puddles. Here are some of the pictures...
