So, as you know Mike and I worked very hard on creating Piper's "Princess Room". She has done a great job sleeping in her big girl bed and hasn't slept in her crib since. I was so excited also to have such a "pretty" room for her. Well, that "pretty" bed and room didn't last too long.
At Piper's request Mike made a "tent" out of her bed by tying a blanket to the four post of the bed. Now, Piper has a complete melt down if you try to take the "tent" down. Now this wouldn't be too big of a deal, but the blanket that she selected to make this tent out of is gasp camouflage... yeah, I know, that doesn't exactly fit with the whole princess attire.
Anyway, she has named her "tent" the "nake tent" (translated from 2 year old talk to adult... snake tent) and I have no idea where she got that from, but the tent has been up for about a week now with no signs of coming down anytime soon. I guess on the bright side of this I can say that she is well balanced... right? A princess with just a touch of tom boy.
