The Little Things

So as you know Piper has been sleeping in her "big girl" bed since last weekend. Up until this point she still didn't understand that when she woke up she could get out of bed on her own. She usually will just yell from her room "mommy, daddy... I wake up" and that was our cue to go and get her out of bed.

Well, this morning I was dead asleep, deep in dream land, and I felt a tiny little kiss on my cheek. Being that I was having a dream I was a little confused but cracked one eye open to see my precious Piper standing next to the bed and she said "Good morning mommy" with a big smile on her face.

My heart melted, how precious! This is one of those moments that I just LOVE being a mom. And even though it was 7:30 in the morning it was the best way to wake up!
